Najiba Shirinbekova is a human rights lawyer from Tajikistan with over two decades of experience advocating for refugees, stateless persons, and women affected by discrimination and inequality. She leads the NGO Right and Prosperity, a member of the Central Asian Statelessness Network, where she works to strengthen legal protection and empower vulnerable groups. Najiba has collaborates with international organizations, UN treaty bodies, and civil society coalitions, contributing to legal reforms, strategic litigation, and policy discussions. She is also the author of publications on asylum law, women’s rights, and statelessness in Central Asia. Her leadership and commitment to justice have earned Right and Prosperity national recognition as Best Human Rights Organization of the Year in 2014.
